Privacy policy

RemakeThat ("we") provides AI creator video remakes. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact support@remakethat.com with any privacy question or request.

Data we collect

Account details. When you sign up with email, we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. When you use Continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile image with us so we can create and authenticate your account.

Your content. Reference photos, video links, creative direction, and the creators and videos you generate. We process this content solely to operate the service for you.

Subscription status. Your plan, billing cycle, usage credits, and subscription state. Card payments are processed by a PCI compliant payment processor. Your full card details never touch our servers.

Product analytics and ad measurement. Account level events used to run, secure, and improve the service. Analytics and advertising measurement beyond what is strictly necessary run only after you accept the marketing preference.

Support correspondence. Messages you send us, kept so we can answer and improve support.

How we use Google user data

Google sign in uses the standard open, profile, and email scopes. We use the name, email address, and profile image Google provides only to create your account, sign you in, and show your account identity in the product. We store this data in our own database. We do not sell Google user data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can revoke our access at any time in your Google Account under third party access, and you can ask us to delete your account data by emailing support@remakethat.com.

Connected Pages and scheduled videos

When you connect Facebook, we store your app-specific account ID, the IDs and names of the Pages you authorize, granted permissions, and encrypted Page access tokens. We use them only to display your connected Pages, publish the videos you authorize, and check publishing status. We store the resulting post IDs and status in your series history. We do not collect your friends, private messages, or personal feed.

Your product photos, product IDs, affiliate tracking ID, creator selection, and schedule are used to create and publish your series. We do not sell connected account data or use it to train general-purpose models. Disconnecting removes saved access tokens and pauses future posts. Removing our access through Facebook also pauses associated series when we receive the notification. See data deletion instructions to remove connected Page data or request deletion of your account and content.

Connected TikTok accounts

When you connect TikTok, we store your app-specific account ID, display name, granted permissions, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. We use these to show the account you selected, retrieve its current publishing options, and publish only videos you individually review and authorize, immediately or at your chosen time. We store the caption, privacy and disclosure choices, consent, schedule, and publishing result. We do not read your private messages or personal feed.

Disconnect in TikTok publishing to remove saved tokens and cancel posts that have not been sent. You can also revoke access in TikTok settings. Already published videos remain on TikTok. We do not sell TikTok user data or use it to train general-purpose models. Contact us using the data deletion instructions to delete your account or publishing history.

How we use data overall

We use personal data to create and maintain your account, generate your creators and videos, manage subscriptions and usage limits, provide support, keep the service secure, and, where you consented, measure product performance and advertising. We never sell your personal data.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers bound to process it for us to operate the service, and where required by law or to protect safety and our rights. Providers have no independent right to your data.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal duties, and resolve disputes. Email support@remakethat.com to request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and associated content. We will confirm once completed, subject to records we must legally retain.

Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed credentials, scoped server access, and sampled operational logging that excludes message bodies, tokens, and secrets. No method is perfectly secure, so report any suspected issue to support@remakethat.com promptly.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign in sessions and security. Analytics and marketing cookies or pixels run only after you accept the marketing preference, which you can withdraw by contacting us.

Children

RemakeThat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided data, contact support@remakethat.com and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post updated versions here with a new date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you before they take effect.
